What does your role do at D-EDGE, and what does a typical day look like?
I'm in charge of developing sales at D-EDGE in all French-speaking markets by acquiring new independent hoteliers, hotel groups and chains.
The main aim is to increase the company's turnover, whether through direct acquisitions, but also through the partners with whom we work closely.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
What's interesting is that, in addition to the human contact we have with all our partners, which is very important to maintain and develop, we have, through our solution, our business scope, a number of solutions that give us diversity in our day-to-day work.
One day, we may well have an appointment to help an independent hotelier overhaul its distribution tools, and the next day, be interacting with a hotel group to discuss its digital strategy.
When I joined D-EDGE, we had three solutions, today, we have over fifteen. We've had to learn new tools, new solutions, to be able to understand and technically master the solutions and support our hoteliers in the evolution of their own ecosystem.
What's interesting is that today, we have this macro vision, which gives us a global view of the overhaul of the digital solutions needed to support our hoteliers, and this micro vision, which enables us to be as close as possible to the needs in the field of our hoteliers.
Which of D-EDGE's values resonates with you the most?
The great thing about D-EDGE, is that we've succeeded in putting people at the heart of our activities. Our proximity to management allows us to feel involved in a much more global project than the simple tasks we carry out within our department on a daily basis.
What would you say to someone thinking about joining D-EDGE?
If you're looking for a company on a human scale, with a real team spirit, if you're eager to learn and want to progress, you know where to apply.
