What has been your career path at D-EDGE?
Begüm: I started my journey with the company as a Customer Service Agent, then I moved into a role as a Technical Support Specialist. After that, I joined the Web Studio department as a Web Support Specialist and today I am a Project Manager within the Web Studio team.
What factors encouraged your internal mobility?
Begüm: The elements that favored my mobility were my curiosity, my motivation and also my desire to learn. I also feel very lucky to work in a company that allowed me to have this internal mobility.
What key skills have you developed?
Begüm: As a Customer Service Agent, I learned how to communicate effectively and solve client problems.
As a Technical Support Specialist, I deepened my technical knowledge and my attention to details.
As a Web Support Specialist, I strengthened my organizational skills and learned how to coordinate with multiple internal teams.
Today, as a Project Manager, all of these skills help me manage my projects effectively and maintain fluid communication with both internal teams and my clients.
What is the impact on your professional and personal life?
Begüm: Evolving through different roles has been a very enriching experience for me. Professionally, it allowed me to acquire several skills and helped me gain a global vision of the company and understand how different teams function. Personally, it boosted my confidence and I learned to adapt more quickly, which has made me proud of my progress.
What advice would you give your colleagues?
Begüm: I would tell my colleagues to stay curious, open-minded and bold. Taking the time to discover the work of other teams and having confidence in your own abilities can really open up great opportunities and allow you to grow.
