Hello, I'm Paul. I've been working in the software industry for seven years now. It's been two years I'm working at D-EDGE, with the hotel industry world, so I've been working also for cable [B2B] development tools, engineering and financial softwares.

What does your role do at D-EDGE?
The purpose of D-EDGE is to enhance the management and facilitate the reservation for hoteliers. All they need to do is to connect to our platform so that they can sell their rooms across their websites or hundreds of famous channels.
My team is creating a tool to help automate taking reservations offline; basically the purpose is to create quotations so they can maximize the conversion rates when the clients will accept the quotations. We are connecting to many APIs from the company to actually create well integrated, efficient products. We have to deal with security, well-designed — a lot of challenges. There's almost everything to create because it's a greenfield product, and there's lots of fun to have working with that.
What would you say to someone thinking about joining D-EDGE?
I'm looking for passionate developers which are able to be quite autonomous, but at the same time have a great team spirit. I want my team to be able to challenge the design, be creative, look for innovative solutions that they can bring to the product. Most of all, I want people having fun developing our solution.
